Hostinger web hosting plans

Premium is the entry shared plan. It supports up to three websites and has lower resource limits than Unlimited, making it a practical starting point for a small site or a few modest projects. Its included backups are weekly.

Unlimited is the larger shared plan, with unlimited websites and email accounts during the included email period. It provides more CPU, memory, storage and database capacity than Premium, and includes daily backups. Consider it if you manage multiple websites or want more room to grow without moving to cloud hosting.

Cloud Startup is not a shared web-hosting plan: it is Hostinger’s separate cloud tier. It offers more resources than shared hosting and is intended for larger or growing sites that need a step beyond the shared plans.

What stands out about Hostinger web hosting

Hostinger operates the hosting platform and server environment, while you manage your own sites and applications, including CMS software, themes and plugins. Its proprietary hPanel brings together website, domain, file, database, email, SSL, backup and WordPress tools; it is not cPanel. SSH and WP-CLI are also listed among the available tools.

Hostinger lists SSD storage on Premium and NVMe storage on Unlimited and Cloud Startup. Free SSL is included and Hostinger says it is set up automatically. A free domain is listed for these plans. Hostinger also lists unlimited bandwidth and a CDN. You can choose among available data-centre locations during setup; options depend on capacity and include regions in Europe, Asia, the Americas and elsewhere.

Weekly automatic backups are included across web and cloud hosting. Daily backups are included with Unlimited and Cloud Startup, while Premium requires an add-on for daily backups. Hostinger’s malware scanner checks website files, but not databases. Support is advertised as available around the clock through dashboard chat, WhatsApp and email; there is no phone support, and initial chat contact uses Hostinger Agent.

Hostinger prices, billing and renewals

Introductory offers are associated with longer prepaid terms, so the advertised starting rate should not be treated as an ongoing price. Hostinger offers monthly, annual, two-year and four-year billing periods. Compare the full prepaid term with the renewal rate for the selected term: renewal is charged at the applicable rate, which Hostinger says you can check in your account dashboard. The cheapest plan currently starts at $2.24.

Eligible web-hosting purchases and renewals have a 30-day money-back guarantee, subject to the refund policy and payment-method exceptions. Turning off auto-renewal stops the next renewal; the service remains active until expiry.

How Hostinger compares with other web hosting

Choose hosting.com if you want a provider that describes its shared plans as fully managed and lists data-centre choices including Singapore, London and Frankfurt. GreenGeeks lets customers choose among listed locations including Chicago, Montreal, Amsterdam and Singapore. For fully managed hosting with a choice of France, Switzerland or Canada, consider PlanetHoster. See our comparison of web hosting providers for more options.

Frequently asked questions

Is Hostinger web hosting managed?

Hostinger manages the hosting platform and server environment through hPanel. You manage your website and applications, including keeping your CMS, themes and plugins updated; this is not Hostinger’s self-managed VPS product.

Which Hostinger web hosting plan should I choose?

Choose Premium for a small site or up to three modest websites. Unlimited is designed for multiple sites and offers more resources and included daily backups. Cloud Startup is a separate cloud-hosting tier for larger or growing sites.

Where are Hostinger web hosting servers located?

Available locations include France, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the United States and Brazil. Choices depend on capacity and are shown during setup; Hostinger also says an active web plan can be moved using the dashboard.

How do Hostinger web hosting backups and renewals work?

Weekly backups are included on web hosting. Unlimited includes daily backups, while Premium requires an add-on for daily backups. Introductory offers are tied to prepaid terms, and renewal is charged at the applicable rate for the selected term; check the account dashboard for that rate.
