GPORTAL

About GPORTAL

GPORTAL says it was founded in 2003 by friends who wanted to make private multiplayer servers available to players. Its headquarters are in Munich, Germany. The company grew through game-hosting partnerships, including work involving Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4, and later expanded its server locations internationally.

GPORTAL’s European company imprint identifies Ociris GmbH, while its international terms name GPORTAL, Inc. as the service operator. Ociris GmbH is identified as the company behind GPORTAL and the parent of GPORTAL, Inc. GPORTAL is best known for its broad game-server catalogue, web-based management panel, Gamecloud features and DDoS protection.

Servers, locations and support

GPORTAL’s status page lists locations across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. The regional labels include Frankfurt, Portsmouth, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Singapore and Japan, among others; the company does not identify a specific city for every label, and availability depends on the game. Its support resources include tickets, Discord and a Wiki. GPORTAL advertises 24/7 ticket support, with an optional paid Fast Lane service subject to stated availability hours and response conditions.

Who GPORTAL may suit

GPORTAL is aimed at players who want a managed multiplayer server, a choice of games and a web panel for settings and logs. Its wider offerings also cover TeamSpeak users, studios and businesses seeking game-related hosting or protection services. Look elsewhere if you need general-purpose shared web hosting, or if a particular game, location or Gamecloud feature is essential and you have not confirmed its availability first.
