About the company
Server.pro is the brand of Server Pro Sweden AB, a company listed at an address in Gothenburg, Sweden. The provider describes the brand as serving customers worldwide and says it has been around since 2013. An OVHcloud profile says the founder started the business in Gothenburg in 2009, and that the companies began working together in 2013; the Swedish legal entity was registered in 2015.
Server.pro is known for a browser-based control panel and a broad choice of games and server software. The available company information does not confirm an ultimate owner or parent company.
What Server.pro sells
Game-server hosting
Customers can host servers for a broad catalog of games, including Minecraft, Rust, Valheim, Terraria and Counter-Strike 2. The service offers mod, plugin and software installers, backups, scheduled tasks, file access and tools to change server locations or games. Our comparison lists nine locations, support for many games, and features such as DDoS protection and daily backups.
General-purpose server hosting
Server.pro also offers Linux servers for web hosting, databases and other software. Paid plans include browser shell or root access, according to the provider’s tool information. This option is aimed at people who need a server environment beyond game hosting.
Domain services
The company sells domain registration alongside features for linking domains to servers and managing DNS records. Domain purchases require additional information to be shared with NameSilo, as stated in Server.pro’s terms.
Servers, locations and support
Server.pro advertises nine data-centre locations worldwide and says customers can change a server’s location. OVHcloud identifies itself as an infrastructure provider to Server.pro. The provider’s public pages reviewed for this profile do not give a city-by-city location list.
Customers can contact support through a form or ticket system. Server.pro says support is available around the clock and that tickets are generally targeted for a response within a few hours. Discord is for community use, not official support.
Who Server.pro suits
Server.pro is worth considering if you want to set up and manage a game server through a web panel, especially for Minecraft, or need a Linux server or domain from the same provider. The many game-management tools may suit groups that install mods, plugins or custom files.
Look elsewhere if you need a provider with a clearly published city-by-city infrastructure list, or if you need confirmed ownership details before choosing. Check the terms carefully if you are considering the free demo, which has time limits and restrictions on access to saved data.
