Both lines use S, M, L and XL tiers, with more CPU, memory, SSD storage and monthly bandwidth as you move up. The Cloud VM S is the entry point for a small workload or lighter project, with one vCPU and 2 GB of RAM. M and L add capacity for busier websites or applications. XL has the most memory and storage in this line; L and XL share the same vCPU count, so XL’s step up is in RAM, storage and bandwidth rather than processor count.

Managed VPS follows the same tier names but starts with more resources: S has 2 vCPU and 4 GB of RAM. It suits a smaller workload where you want management included. M and L are successive options as demand grows, while XL is the largest listed managed tier, with 8 vCPU, 16 GB RAM and 300 GB SSD storage. Choose according to both workload and whether you want to take responsibility for server administration.

What stands out in Host4Geeks VPS hosting

Cloud VM is unmanaged and advertises root access. You are responsible for server administration, installing software, security hardening, updates, monitoring and applications. Host4Geeks says Managed VPS includes setup and hardening, operating-system and software updates, monitoring and proactive response, plus engineer help with troubleshooting, configuration and optimization. Managed migration and an onboarding call are also advertised. The precise limits of that service are not fully specified.

Managed VPS advertises a choice of cPanel/WHM, CyberPanel, DirectAdmin or Webuzo. The plans in our comparison list CyberPanel, while the Cloud VM product information describes a control panel as optional rather than confirming it is included by default. Our comparison lists one dedicated IPv4 address for Cloud VM and two for Managed VPS. Host4Geeks advertises weekly backups on both lines, with an option to move to daily backups; the current Cloud VM retention and restore terms are not clearly stated. Managed VPS advertises four weekly restore points, but a full restore takes the VPS offline and overwrites existing data.

Host4Geeks lists data centres in Lenoir, Los Angeles, Maidenhead and Pune, and says Cloud VM customers can choose a location at checkout. Availability across every tier, particularly Managed VPS, is not confirmed. Both product lines advertise network-level firewall and DDoS protection; managed plans also advertise daily malware scans, monitoring and unlimited SSL certificates. Host4Geeks does not confirm the published comparison’s 1 Gbps network speed on its product pages.

Prices, billing and renewals

The cheapest plan currently starts at $12.61. Monthly and longer prepaid billing cycles are offered, including annual, two-year and three-year terms where available. Longer commitments are presented with lower monthly-equivalent rates than monthly billing, but usually mean paying for more time upfront. Introductory pricing may apply only to the first term. Services renew automatically at the then-current renewal rate, and Host4Geeks’ pricing descriptions are not fully consistent about renewals, so the checkout terms matter. Eligible first-time Managed and Unmanaged VPS purchases have a seven-day money-back guarantee, subject to exclusions and conditions; no free trial is confirmed. Submit cancellation before the renewal invoice is generated to prevent renewal.
